Biography

James Taylor is none other than half of SWAYZAK. Since 1998 this English duo has been servicing the global scene with their deep, groovy and minimal sound. With four albums under their belt already, varying from the subtle high-quality house of Snowboarding In Argentina (1998) and Himawari (2000) to the more pop sound of Dirty Dancing (2002) and Loops From The Bergerie (2004), this double-team have always been guided by their desire to make their recordings elegant and precision. More intimate than recent Swayzak productions, Carthage Milk takes us back to the style of Snowboarding In Argentina, the album that first charmed us with its pure and rolling sound. With a touch of house and a deep ambience, James Taylor gives us a more personal sound. The beautifully produced techno, seasoned gently with dub, gives this album an unforgettable synthetic warmth.
